Assoc.Prof, Dr. Montira Rato said: "Transferring the meanings of words to convey the writer’s messages is an art, which is not simply reflecting all the things you can see in a mirror to another mirror. It is translated in a way that in the context, the readers can understand the culture, the language".

Writer Nguyen Nhat Anh shared: "One can just be good at a specific field. Me too, I belong to the childhood memories. Every writer has a hometown; when it comes to childhood, my mind is full of ideas and emotions. It is my own childhood which inspired me when composing Ticket to childhood”.

Mr. Anh said, to write about childhood is to awake the bright pink colored parts available in human’s hearts. Literature is not only a means to satisfy the aesthetic values but also means for readers to discover a region, understand a nation and love one people. When he was little, since he loved the characters in the literature of France, the US and then Russia, he was always longing to visit those countries. "Books make a man interest in a different country other than his own country, so the work of a translator is very important. Ms. Montira Rato is a public diplomacy who uses literature to help the people from different countries communicate more with each other "- writer Nguyen Nhat Anh stressed.

Writer Nguyen Nhat Anh expressed his regrets for low rates of literary translating among Southeast Asia works, which keeps a quite wide gap between the neighbors. He could not wait to see a publisher who would do a Southeast Asia work which is released in ASEAN countries in the language of each country.
