VNUHCM and Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspapers To Cooperate On Promoting Eeducation Development Propaganda

On the morning of July 7th, VNUHCM and Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper signed a cooperative agreement on education development promotion.

Thereby, 2 sides will accompany each other on promoting the Vietnamese Communist Party’s and Government‘s policy of scientific – technology, training and education development to nationwide people including focus on propagandizing and implementing Decree No. 29 of basic and comprehensive revitalization of education and training; action program No. 46 of Municipal Standing Committee to implement Decree No. 29; introducing progressive educational models, approaches, standards, overseas affiliated programs to improve tertiary quality, development of VNUHCM together with member schools and units.

VNUHCM has cooperated with Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper to deliver specific content in Integrated Education as well as on News, Education, Scientific Technology columns. VNUHCM is also a Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper’s strategic content partner, particularly on VNUHCM expertized fields.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Professor Huynh Thanh Dat – President of VNUHCM expressed his optimism on the cooperation with Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper. “This cooperation would enhance the development of both sides’ strengths. With the assistance of the newspaper, VNUHCM’s image will be widespread, as well as our position and mission will help reaffirm the leading role of VNUHCM in the fields of education and training on national scale and increase prestige and brand-name of VNUHCM on international scale.” he stated.

During the foundation and development of the press, there are many renowned writer rooted from education and scientific technology fields. Their voices helped contribute and clarify issues in national policy. The cooperation with VNUHCM would help the Sai Gon Giai Phong itself approach helpful information,  practical applications to amplify and implement Decree No 29 and HCMC’s action program on scientific technology, training and education development.”,  Nguyen Tan Phong – Editor in Chief of Sai Gon Giai Phong added.
