VNUHCM Signed MoU With Binh Duong Province
On July 28th, at Binh Duong’s Administration Center, representatives from VNUHCM and Binh Duong’s Fire Fighting and Protection Police Department signed Regulations for coordination in security, fire fighting, protection and rescue. The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia – Vice Presdient of VNUHCM, and Mr. Tran Thanh Liem – Vice Chairman of Binh Duong People’s Committee.
The Regulations comprise the both sides’ agreement to exchange information, propagandize and broadcast essential knowledge for community about fire fighting and protection; practice fire safety check; coordinate in fire fighting and rescue occupational training; coordinate in scientific research and other issues regarding to fire fighting and protection, etc.
On his remarks, Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia said that the VNUHCM Urban Area locates on 643.7 hectares in total, including 522 hectares on Di An Ward, Binh Duong Province. Dr. Nghia was looking forward to upcoming detailed coordination plan to implement activities in securing fire safety and rescue at VNUHCM campuses as well as in the whole area. The fire security will make a considerable contribution in building a “smart, modern and safe” VNUHCM Urban Area.
With high consideration for this cooperation, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem proposed to work closely with VNUHCM and comprehensively conduct effective solutions to actively defense and secure fire safety, following “4 on the spot” motto. Then, by setting up their own fire fighting and protection’s team, VNUHCM will be able to actively and immediately solve fires and practice rescue occurring in this area.
