Dr. Nguyen Thi Hiep received Talented Young Science Researcher 2016 award
Dr Nguyen Thi Hiep, lecturer of Department of Biomedical Engineering, VNUHCM-International University has been awarded Talented Young Science Researcher (L’OREAL National Fellowships) in the morning of 29/11, in Hanoi.
With research project about new discovery of Titanium material in restorative dentistry sector, Dr Hiep has been received L’Oreal – UNESCO Association Council Science Award’s evaluation of high caliber, good research ability, has passion for science research and extensive experience in designing biomaterials.
Dr Nguyen Thi Hiep was born in 1981, got Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at VNUHCM-University of Science and Ph.D degree at Soonchunhyang University (South Korea). In 2012, Dr. Hiep returned to be lecturer of Biomedical Engineering Department, VNUHCM- International University.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Hiep has over 10 years researching on materials for medical applications and their interactions on cells and tissues. During this time, Dr. Hiep has 26 scientific publications of ISI, 6 scientific publications in international journals, 6 articles in domestic and more than 40 scientific articles in international conferences.
L’OREAL National Fellowship is a scholarship within the framework of L’Oreal – UNESCO Science Award For the women development in science. This year, L’Oreal National Fellowship awarded to three young researchers working and studying in Vietnam that have scientific research and long-term contribution to the scientific development of the country.
