International Conference On “Intellectual Properties And Trading: Law And Implementary Experiences”
On December 07th 2016, University of Economics and Law cooperated with Ministry of Science and Technology and Indiana University (USA) held the international conference on the topic of “Intellectual Properties and Trading: Law and Practical Experiences”
The conference was attended by representatives from Ministry of Education & Training, Ministry of Justice and more than 150 scholars as well as domestic and overseas legal researchers.
Among a total of 52 articles published by the conference, 13 were presented through 4 sessions. These papers focused on the issue of intellectual properties in the Free Trade Areas (FTA) and Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).
The conference also concluded and evaluated the law implementation in the field of intellectual properties in Vietnam over the past time.
As Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Tien Dung, Rector of University of Economics and Laws, stated, the conference was a chance for researchers, lecturers, policymakers as well as enterprises to access legal regulations with many perspectives; contributed to creating a legal platform for executing intellectual properties that are compatible to international engagements as well as national regulations.
