20 Students Received Thakral In Sewa 2017 scholarship
In the morning of June 13th, at VNUHCM Administration Buildong, In Sewa Limited Charitable Organization granted 20 scholarships to VNUHCM students whose difficult family background and achieved good grades in study. Accordingly, each student will receive a scholarship of $285.71 per year (around 6.4 million VND).
Attending the ceremony were Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia – Vice President of VNUHCM, Mr. Rikhi Thakral – CEO of Thakral Group, cum Director of In Sewa Limited Charitable Organization.
Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia said that the Thakral In Sewa Scholarship was launched in 2011 and so far has awarded 120 scholarships which worth over VND 752 million to VNUHCM. Therefore, this scholarship will be a source of meaningful encouragement to the students. “We hope that they will continue to improve their knowledge, skills and attitudes so that they can work and develop in the changing context of the country, the region and the world, especially the Intensive international integration process, ASEAN economic community, industrial revolution IV “- Dr. Nghia remarked.
Sharing with students who receive scholarship, Mr. Rikhi Thakral said that Viet Nam was a country with great potential, so students would try to learn more to make Viet Nam a greater country. .
Represent for students who receive scholarship, Vuong Mong Hung, University of Technology of VNUHCM shared: “Scholarships help us to buy more intensive study documents, more opportunities to improve foreign language skills. I will use a part of this scholarship for the next semester and a part to apply for external skills courses. ”
