7 VNUHCM students received scholarships KOVA 2016

On December 17th, the Ceremony of the 14th KOVA Awards took place at Reunification Palace Hall, HCMC.

KOVA Awards was organized on a national scale, including 4 main categories in various fields. This year, the KOVA Award honored the contributions of 2 works of applied sciences (category of Tectonics); 6 humane examples (Category of Living Beautifully), and 16 excellent students in scientific research (Category of Prospects).

 

In addition, the KOVA Award Commission also granted 110 scholarships (each worth 8 million VND) to the energetic students who overcame difficulties in learning from 58 public universities across the country.

 

VNUHCM had 7 students receiving KOVA Scholarship 2016.

 

This is a prestigious annual award founded by Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoe – Chairwoman of KOVA Paint Group cum Vice Chairman Vietnam Female Intellectuals in 2002. The KOVA Award received Former Vice President Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh as Chairwoman of the Prize Committee and since 2012, the position was transferred to the Former Vice President Ms. Nguyen Thi Doan.

 

Throughout 14 times organized, KOVA Award honored hundreds of works of applied sciences, examples of good persons, as well as awarded many prizes and scholarships to more than 1,000 students across the country.
