Launching Student’s English Singing Contest 2017
In the morning of March 5th, BEE English Club collaborated with the Executive Committee of Students’ Association at VNUHCM-University of Science (VNUHCM-US) to hold the knockout round of In Tune for the second year running.
In Tune is an English singing contest for students of the University of Science and other universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City. In the knockout round, contestants participate individually, which means they choice their own song and form of performance.
“This is the first time I have participated in this contest. I was encouraged by a higher student to join in In Tune because she tried and got quite a high result last year. The song I chose is my most favorite one, so I often practice it at home. Nonetheless, I feel a little bit nervous when standing in a big hall,” Ngan Sa, a student from Foreign Trade University Ho Chi Minh City, expressed.
After the knockout round, the organizing committee selected the top 30 contestants to enter the semi-final round. The final round will take place on March 19th with the participation of 10 final contestants.
Descended from BEE Musical, In Tune is organized to create a healthy playground for those who love to sing in English. Besides, the contest gives you the chance to show your singing talents, interact and improve your English skills.
