I think that the work is not only for children but also adults can read and meditate on the profound human values which authors to recommend “.
A Hen Into the Wild is one of the most successful works of the writer Hwang Sun-mi. This story has been translated into 9 languages and was adapted into cartoon Leafie, A Hen Into the Wild in 2011, resonates at many international film festivals.
The work revolves around the story of Palm Pre, the only self-entitled chicken in the flock who did not trough her neck into the feeder in mealtimes but stare through the grating to see Mimosa trees in the garden. Not accepting the life in a cage just to eat bran and lay eggs, she dreamed of traveling here and there, hatching their offspring then wander around like Garden Chicken – a member of the family in garden.
Conveying the message about the desire of freedom, living true to oneself, daring challenge and doing what they want, the story of Palm Pre not only appeal to children, but also attract adults, who have long forgotten the true dare to live their dream.
