VNUHCM-UT students won 7 Loa Thanh 2016 awards
On November 8th, 2016, Loa Thanh Award Committee announced the list of outstanding graduation projects which would be prized in 2016. Particularly, 7 Loa Thanh awards, including 1 First, 2 Second and 3 Third Prizes and 1 Committee Prize went to VNUHCM-UT students.
In particular, Dao Quy Phuoc with thesis on Huu Nghi Hotel won the first prize; both second places were awarded to students Pham Phu Sa and Nguyen Tan Thinh; all three third prizes went to students Truong Dai Thanh, Nguyen Ngoc Thanh and Nguyen Quoc Thien; and an Committee prize were also awarded to an VNUHCM-UT student, Nguyen Van Dat.
Loa Thanh Award 2016 attracted an overall 189 architecture-planning and construction engineering thesis of students from 23 Vietnamese universities.
Loa Thanh Award is the competition organized for students who specialize in civil engineering and architecture by Vietnamese Association for Civil Engineering, Vietnamese Association for Architects, Central Board of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Ministry of Construction. The competition encourages students to study, develop their passion for their career and invent innovations. The award also acknowledges young talents in the field of architecture and civil engineering. The 28th Loa Thanh Award will be organized on Saturday November 26th, 2016 at Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam – Ha Noi.
